Spilling the beans as to what many were suspecting, Apple execs leaked that Monday, October 28 will start a “Week Of Macs” announcements — most likely M4 models to be introduced throughout the week online and featured on Apple’s website in lieu of a choreographed online Apple Event* by Apple staff.
The M4 models will join the release of iOS 18.1 (and other OSes) and the beginnings of Apple Intelligence (for devices that support it).
Expected to be unveiled:
M4 versions of the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro, the iMac and possibly the Mac Studio. The “One More Thing” that may be splashed on the last day is a redesigned, smaller Mac mini.
Although a specific time of day was not given, the first unveiling on Apple’s site may come at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. ET. Most of the specs for each Mac model will be siphoned off of Apple’s site and splashed via social media outlets throughout the days.
Enjoy your pre-Halloween treats, everyone!
