The statewide Oregon MacPioneers user group, also known as OMUG, celebrated its 23rd birthday a registered Apple Users Group on Friday, November 11.

Our statewide group was conceived at an Oregon user group picnic next to the Willamette river in Corvallis, Oregon in 1999, when it became clear that we needed a bonding, supportive user group to unite and help all the other Apple User Groups in the state of Oregon.

We are also proud that we pioneered the creation of our unique statewide user group celebration event “You Don’t Know Mac!” along the way. OMUG is proud to be continuing the Apple Oregon Trail with all of the other wagon trains — Oregon’s Apple User Groups.
