Apple Maps can now find COVID testing and vaccination stations near you

Find nearby COVID testing, vaccination stations in Apple Maps

Apple updated the Maps app on Tuesday, March 16 with the ability to search for COVID-19 testing and vaccine locations. Search in the Apple Maps app or via Siri by asking “Where can I get a COVID vaccination?”

(I found it easier to just type the word COVID into the search field of Maps — you will then get category choices of testing or vaccines near you and the locations shown on Maps — Steve/OMUG)

The placecard shown for each vaccine site will include the operating hours, address, phone numbers, and a link to the provider’s website. The initial rollout includes more than 20,000 locations. More will continually be added, or updated, it has been reported (we just randomly chose Seattle for our post image).
